Dear @PBCool,
A problem was resolved previously but is now occurring again. I am being routed through New York USA, my ping has increased, and my traffic has slowed down again. Can you please look into this and let me know? I can provide traceroutes if needed.
Thank you for your support

Thanks so much for the input, however the file sharing happens to be a by product of our VPN usage. Without our full upload speed we can't properly utilize our VPN outside of the country either. It's also just nice to be able to control your data / privacy more by running your own server :)...
That's correct. Files are downloaded from our SA server, via the UK. Normally we can max out the connection on any service, we have a business package. But sending data out of SA is strangely limited now. Thanks again
Hi,
We have a server that is used for international file sharing on projects.
Files are downloaded from our server via SMB/AFP over VPN, but even files downloaded direct over standard HTTP through our web server yield the same slow results.
Thanks so much
After geolocating the trace-route path, it does indeed go via US.

The screenshots in my previous posts were all taken from Speedtest.net.
I enabled pinging on my router to allow a direct traceroute from him. This is a traceroute from him to me directly over terminal.
traceroute to [IP_REMOVED_FOR_PRIVACY] ([IP_REMOVED_FOR_PRIVACY]), 64 hops max, 52 byte...
Thanks so much for the reply
I had a friend run some tests from UK. He has a 30/10. Here are his results:
Every server in SA maxes out his 30/10 connection except cool ideas and vox telecom. The upload speed from CISP to him (his download speed), and latency, are really bad compared to the...
50/50 connection, tests fine locally, (see bottom most test).
But anything outside of the country has terrible upload speeds. I get full download speeds anywhere I test, but nothing near on the upload? I have been using my package for quite a while and normally upload to international servers...
Can anyone please confirm if there are upload issues on international traffic? I can get full speeds on local servers but international tests are crazy slow on the uploads only. Am on the Vumatel network in CT.
