Maybe its to do with the underlying fibre provider? Mine went down by R176 with a small 5Mbps increase in bandwidth from beginning Feb. You are on Openserve fibre whereas my fibre provider is ZOOM. Also I'm on a mickey mouse 15/15 whilst you on 50/25.
Yup, this is exactly what I did. Ran conduit from the point of entry into my house to where I wanted the fibre to terminate, with fish line installed and junction boxes at every change of direction.
