    I last owned a TV in 2006 and tried three times in vain to try and cancel my TV licence. They don't even send out reminders anymore. I pay for my parents TV licence.

    BBC has some good stuff on it. I occasionally watch BBC using a VPN. And they don't enforce a TV licence, other than asking if you have a TV licence.
