    Now if they win this then they can start saying the same thing about private residents at some stage who implement solar solutions on their side

    So the impossibility of this right now is storage for night. Effectively they have blocked any solution unless you invest billions into storage while attempting to maintain their monopoly.

    Or you could use a mine battery in JHB, it's already built the land is cheap and it can store tons of power.
