    3d Printers South Africa

Whilst I dont own tbe i7, I own a K1 Max and Flashforge AD5X. My K1 is well known as the frustration station and the AD5X as my "staatmaker". Im a beginner with 3d printing, but quite handy and know how to google/chatgpt and solder, and figure sruff out. If I had to do it all again, the AD5X...

Just a word of caution on those N38 magnets - I use the 6x3 mm for my projects and they MAGNET like crazy! 4 times 10x5 mm magnets might be overkill for keeping a mouse in place.

While you guys have been printing dinosaurs and lithophanes, I've been dealing with trying to calibrate TPU. Happy to say, my K1 Max is now printing 82A TPU and I can use it to function and grip properly with my plastic arm/hand.

Water tank level addon - which one

Another plus one for this project. I have built and installed it in my one tank and have had no issues. The other tank still has the ultrasonic sensor and is just a frustration with readings all over the place.

I just noticed that mine is doing exactly the same thing for my geyser switches. This is quite frustrating, as my automations are not triggering correctly now.

I have a K1 Max, did the linear rail mod, what a mission. And then, with the mod, i lost printing on the left side of the bed due to the drag chain sagging. Printed some chain raisers, to see it is the wrong size, after I took everything apart. Cue my little AD5X - it truly is the gift that...

All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

And I just gave up with Sunsynk and got Solar Assistant - oh Murphy....

All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

I've been riding the wave and tried to just let these outages go, but this latest one, along with the 10 min updates (if and when its actually working) has sent me over the edge. RPi will be on order tonight and I'll make the transition to Solar Assistant. My suspicion is the Sunsynk App won't...

My overview page is not updating, but when I click on equipment, the values are still updating. Values are still updating into home assistant too. I'm also considering going solar assistant route, but will probably have to buy a Pi for each of the inverters, which becomes expensive.

Best print I've had so far with my K1 Max. If every single print could just be this easy.

Yep, I also spoke too soon - was up until after midnight, stripping and cursing at the K1, trying to sort out a clogged printer yet again. Actually not clogged, it is as if the filament just get stuck in the extruder, almost as if the filament is too thick to feed through. Im ready to give up...

Started up my k1 max after a while today, this after I gave up on it, because of the prints warping. Updated the firmware and app on android and two prints in succession came out close to perfect. Maybe I'll give this 3d printing thing another go.

I've just built a sensor using the ESP8266 and waterproof ultrasonic sensor, but the condensation is playing absolute havoc with the readings. Even a thin layer of petroleum jelly has made no difference. I'll probably end up biting the bullet and get that pressure sensor.
