I'm affected with Fibre Stream going belly up. One of their sales guys called me today saying the same we all know, Vuma pulled the plug on them and the line has been released back to Vumatel. Vumatel consulted called me like 15 minutes ago with ideas for ISP in the price range 10:10 R699...
Hi Guys,
I've received notification from my ISP that Vumatel is discontinuing their 10/2 and 20/2 from February nationwide.
Has anyone seen/heard this as well?

Hi Gatvol,
I've had to search hard and came across Fibrestream that has a R499 10/2 month to month. For a fresh new install (CPE device) they ask R1999 which is Vuma fees. They dont throttle, no FUP, setup is free and they throw in a free router untill you cancel. Then they ask for the router...
Hi boffins, I need advice on the cheapest fibre for a nongaming house, main use will be streaming, video calls and browsing. I'm thinking of the 10/2 product as speed is is kind of irrelevant.
Any advice on an a ISP?
Hi guys
Who can shed some light on the uptime of fiber in Noordheuwel area when there is power failures or loadshedding? I have LTE and the towers all tank there so thinking of going the fiber route. I only have Openserve in my area.
Thanks
Best advice is to jump ship, I confirmed that my ISP on vumatel network has the necesarry infrastruction to power the network when load shedding. Just so happen Vumatel has generators in my area.
It is just going to get worst when we have everyday load shedding.

I'm with Packetsky which is situated in JHB on the Vumatel backbone. What is great about them is i can chat to top level network engineers not just the "techies" and they are competitively priced.
Also if you're connecting to EU server i hope your KDA is legendary.
