thank you I suspect it is a larvae, and probably that of a beetle of some sort, but all those on the above, links although similar, are in the USA and I am in South Africa. Never seen many beetles on the property, but then again we have had years of drought until this year, so maybe good rains...- knysna

Good day to you, Please could you identify the gogga that has invaded my garden in the thousands in Knysna. Looks like a worm but only 6 legs and only in the front section. Black with yellow underbelly, and very slight feint yellow stripe on back, 2 cm. Suspect it is a larvae of something as...- knysna
