the staff there have no soul, they will do whatever they want with no regard for your instruction. afrihost was an excellent isp... just like openweb before them. all gone bad. people become complacent and it ends up ruining a good thing

all good, its certainly started a debate here at home if we should or should not pay for installation.

Im not minding being on a contract longer than 24months, money is tight and i cant care about the router. at the end of the day, i have already been with Afrihost giving me bad service, so, its not an issue for me.

so they dug up right past my spot, including our drive way... - they are certainly VERY fast - took them 2 days from what I could see... but they left our driveway in ruins... people in our building is not impressed. One of our tenants told me he heard that if our entire building doesn't take...

Thanks for that warning, they can either come and install it - at no cost, or i stay on dsl - right now, as much as I want fiber, they either want my business, or they can go stand in the far cue... - i would gladly stay on a 12 or 24month contract to pay for that installation, but they won't...

about time... I didn't want to waste people's time switching to pureDSL and doing all that work, only to switch to fiber a few months down the line... I'd rather just wait and go fiber when its here...

I see some digging going on around Che Guevara, Clark, Lena Ahrens into Berea Road... in JB Marks there is cuts into the pavement especially by the Telkom street boxes... Fiber?
