    For me personally, I'll go to the cheapest item first. When I find out that store has shipping insurance, I will avoid ordering and choose another option unless there is no other store carrying the item. As a rule, I still don't buy shipping insurance though. And while it hasn't happened to me...

    Couldn't agree more, it's absolutely crazy that businesses are handing off the risk to the consumer, and also completely illegal.
