You could not pay me to get on that thing in shorts and slops, but Oom Gigachad out giving zero fks.
Is that a 280 section front tyre?
This whole thing has that peculiar sense of disproportionality that you get from toy vehicles designed for action figures.
Very interesting front suspension...
Already moved most shopping back to brick & mortar because of the severely degraded quality of search on just about every ecommerce site. Not sure how these MBAs think losing sales because customers can't find what they want is worth the pittance that advertising pays, but if they were smart...
There was a Fortnine review that points out all the ways the KLE is not actually nearly as bad as the community have made it out to be. Moreover, they're incredibly well priced right now for a Japanese bike, and the one person I know of with one is very satisfied with it - even took it down some...
I'm defensive because every time I mention this damned model a bunch of tools who need to justify buying a 400 grand sports tourer with knobbies crawl out of the woodwork to talk about how you can't actually use any of the evidence of its capability as actual evidence that it's capable, and...
Sure, and that's true of every other bike on the track as well. Hell, look at the monstrosity that was Riemann's F900. Your point would matter if I was saying something stupid like "hey, it's cool that we could go do that on these bikes!", but Pol Tarres and the T7 taught us better long ago...
Anyone run a pitbike? Given up on CFMoto bringing in the Papio, I can't ever seem to get my hands on any of the few MSX125s that come up for sale, and apparently the pit 125s are basically the same engine in a non-registerable, more dirt-capable frame.
Don't know if you saw Romaniacs this year, but CFMoto pretty convincingly crushed it with the 450MT. That single bike is doing more to dispel China-skepticism than any number of KTMs built in Chinese factories ever could. Super cool little machine.
Yeah, those... lever protectors? They're not handguards. Anyway, even just those look a little chintzy.
Feel like Honda got surprisingly expensive across a number of models here years back. Sold my Fireblade when it started needing parts regularly, and they were absolutely rinsing it even then...
To address the title of this thread... only 3x the range on R100 of fuel? I habitually ride motorcycles. I commute on them. 3x the range efficiency of a car is baby ****; I'll do that on a Panigale, much less an efficient maxi-scoot or P-twin. And with a way lower emissions footprint than an ICE...
I really hope this is just provocation, because otherwise you're essentially saying that you believe anyone who fails to share your aesthetics and lifestyle doesn't actually have any kind of inner world, and that they just condense down to a convenient stack of cliches.
That doesn't make you...
I mean, if other posts here are valid, they can just offload the things in China.
Don't think most people hate it as a car... but as a Ferrari, it's repulsive. Similar to how few are offended by Smeg's design language in a toaster; but they likewise don't want it on, say, a full-size...
Feel like he's finding that out. Bit disappointing if he doesn't note it on the ad.
Was also tempted by the R1, but that thing seemed to be giving problems even after it was "finished"... couple of references to it cutting out, needing to pick it up, etc. Used sportsbikes; not even once.
