    Most of the entry-level Windows laptops have hinges that crack within a year, and the entry-level Intel chips that choke on anything past a YouTube tab.     Good shout — that's the way to do it if you only want the one purchase. Just set a reminder to cancel, because that R59 quietly renews and people forget. For a one-off Mac buy, the trick makes sense; not worth keeping Prime just for this unless you'll actually use it.

    That's a solid price — the 16GB RAM at R14,999 is what makes it. A lot of places still have the 16GB M4 Air up near R20k, so this is well under. Only thing to flag: it's the 256GB. Fine if you mostly browse, do docs and use iCloud, but if you keep a big photo or video library on the machine...
