    I am having the same problem. I ported my number from MTN because of this issue and now I find that Vodacom has the same problem. Does anybody have a solution? It makes it impossible to do internet banking on a foreign bank account.

    I had the same problem a few months ago....after trying 4 or 5 times suddenly the SMS came through....have tried several times already this time around but no luck yet

    No the number was not ported from another network.

    Hi I have the same problem. My bank in Ireland sends me an SMS and it does not arrive on my MTN phone. The bank says I should contact my service provider but MTN do not seem to be able to help. Anybody know what to do about this?
