    You do get lymes in South AfricaI have it and have never left the country. Ampath tested me after 5 months of hospital visits after tick bites!!

    I have been tested positive for borelia using igenics test , been sick for 9 months after a tick bite. THeres a doctor in CHatsworth Johannesburg who treats lymes , Ive been on treatment for three months there is slight improvement!!! You not crazy you get Lymes in South Africa
