Very interesting. What sort of hardware setup are you running? How many cameras?

The Zemismarts? Bought them directly from Zemismart.com. Took a few weeks to arrive. Also had an issue with the shipping cost on their website. They were very helpful in resolving it though.

Also had quite a delay in the video feeds using ffmpeg into HA. Started with ezviz cameras linked into a hikvision NVR. Have moved to a 32 channel Uniview NVR and replaced all the cameras with Uniview. I still find the best results through motioneye add-on in HA. I'm getting the feed from the...

Sonoff relays = brilliant. Sonoff light switches = suck. Go with Qualitel for sure

You can have them with pleasure. Let me check how many I have that haven't been butchered at the solder station. Will let you know

Couldn't flash any of the Eachen light switches. I ended up ordering the Zemismart no neutral switches that were pretty easy to flash with tasmota. They have been running about a year now. No issues.

I have a few of the Eachen no neutral switches collecting dust. No way to flash them. Spent days on this and eventually gave up.

Kicked out the DSC Neo for the Paradox SP6000 with IP150. Works brilliantly. Integration into HA was a breeze.

Seems like a good choice. The Goodwe. Integrates well into home assistant. My neighbour has one. I'm still not convinced that I need coct approval for off grid PV.

Every January for the past 6 years I vow this is the year I put up panels and something else ends up taking priority. I'm using utility power to recharge batteries between loadshedding. Which inverter are you going for?

SA smart plugs that can be flashed with Tasmota

Not sure what that could be. I've not had any experience with the BNETA plugs. Had a lot of disconnect issues with the BNETA bulbs in the past. Also had issues with tasmota devices and reserved IPs with some routers. I only use unifi nowadays. Or I disable dhcp on the router and run the home...

Suggested Product - to remind you that your garage door is left open

Agreed. The d1 mini hooked up to an ignition controlled USB in the cars works really well to automate garage doors and gates. I also have sonoff sv with ultrasonic sensors attached to garage door motors which displays which car is in the garage based on detected height. Also have d1 mini with...

Are you using factory firmware or tasmota?

I run 4 x voltronic axpert 5kva inverters in parallel. I monitor everything in home assistant. I use grid frequency sensors to trigger automation to kick off power guzzlers (pool pump, dishwasher, tumble dryer etc) to save battery. Works really well.

SA smart plugs that can be flashed with Tasmota

I use the Sonoff basic or mini on appliances and the TH16 on aircons and geysers. Qualitel light switches are the best. I got some from takealot in December and had no problem flashing with tuya-convert
