    OK I feel kind of stupid admitting this but I went through the settings (again) on the router and some shmuck-that would be me-set a bandwidth control at one point to try and ensure he gets priority while gaming. Bloody hell I'm sorry for all the trouble mate. It's working fine now.

    It is indeed the double up promotion. Before I upgraded the line, I had confirmation from the accounts team that the line would be doubled to 40.
