Just a quick update, they finally got back to me.
Skynet returned the simcard and they are now logging a refund for me.
So I guess it's a happy ending after all.
Thanks for the solid advice, I appreciate it.
I ended up paying them the outstanding amount, they said that their team will be in contact with me to discuss the matter further.
I requested that the account stays locked to avoid further expenses from accumulating, but I have a feeling they're...
Thanks, and I agree.
But I do partially blame skynet, but vox could have definitely handled the situation better and not ignore my communications. It's not my fault skynet failed to deliver my package, like I mentioned, they phoned me about 6 times to confirm my address saying the driver will...
LOL
This gave me a good laugh, but yeah I'm probably just going to end up paying these bastards.
Just making a point for people considering VOX, to take this into consideration. I'm sure there are people who have a good experience with them, but this is just utter bullshit in my opinion.
Good day.
In the begining of February I ordered a telkom sim from vox. The delivery company they use (Skynet), failed to deliver the package to me. They would call me confirming my address, saying that the driver would call me when the package would be delivered.. The driver never called me...
Rain throttles torrents to 50kbps during the day on all packages as far as I'm aware.
During the night 23:00-05:00, torrents should be full speed (I think).
Alternatively you can use a VPN to bypass the throttling.
Well as of rn I'm still getting 4mbps in youtube and netflix.. "unless you are on a tower all on your lonesome " is definitely a possibility though, don't think many people in my town use rain.
Don't think I'll be upgrading to the 24/7 sim if they're gonna cap streaming to 1.5mbps, on the R250 sim streaming is capped to 4mbps so I can easily watch 1080p netflix/youtube.
