Also, has anyone tried putting small DC fans (like 120mm fans) on the intake and outake vents to see if additional air flow reduces the internal fans going on and off during charging and at load? Or are the internals fans load dependent, not temperature dependent?
Just got my own 3kw unit today. I wanted to change the charging amps from 20A to 30A to increase the charging speed... Any negative effects of doing this?
I see there's a 6.4kw version of the trolley on takealot.
Check this out on takealot: Digital Energy 3kW Trolley Inverter with 6.4KW Lithium Battery

I was under the impression that there wasn't...
I have this in my cart, waiting for it to back on sale at R24999 at takealot! *fingers crossed *
Out of interest, is there a possibility to add additional battery capacity to this trolley?
I did the same and activated it. And if swiping really is a problem, I'll just withdraw cash. Although I really don't forsee any issues. Seems I'm off to Italy before you (Venice, Florence, Rome) so I'll post back if I have any problems along the way.
As noted in the thread before, you are able to change the pin on the card at an fnb atm here is SA before you leave (but not via the app). I did this today, and when I put the card in the atm, there was an option to 'enable pin on chip'... Is this required? It is by default disabled, should it...
No problem. Yes agreed. It just becomes a question of how much cash to carry around at any given time vs. offsetting smaller amounts over multiple withdrawals (if fees were non-existent). But yes I totally agree, the fees are negligible in comparison to the amounts being withdrawn...Thanks for...
Building onto the tap and go discussions, I did try and load the card onto Samsung Pay but wasn't able to (albeit a month or two ago). FNB confirmed with me that there is some plan to implement it in future, however there is no timeline currently.
The pricing guide for Premier says 4 Euro per withdrawal. But there is a little note saying that some ATM's may not charge a fee. Was more wondering whether there is/are a certain bank/banks in Italy that may not charge a fee (maybe even just due to some affiliation with FNB). I would't have...
Hey all. Anyone used this overseas and can comment on ATM withdrawal fees? Travelling to Italy later this month, so wondering if there will be fees (the pricing guide says some ATM's 'may' charge a fee). Contacted FNB forex team and they said I must call the number on the back of the card. I'll...
Guys, two questions.
1. Does anyone know the procedure if you lose your Global Debit Card whilst overseas?
2. Is it possible to transfer between Global Accounts? As in transfer or 'pay' Euro's from my Global Account to my gf's Global Account?
