As above, because I did my due diligence.
There are so many scams out there (I almost fell for one a little while back, but because I did my due diligence, I didn't). So when I find one I'm happy with, why not endorse it instead of automatically saying it's a scam without even looking into it...
I really don't know at this point, but why are you so adamant it's a scam? I feel there needs to be a voice of reason. I did my due diligence. Unfortunately, being made redundant has put a halt to my plans of installing solar.
Yes, I raised the scam thing with them too, they are legit and part of the German company, I did multiple checks.
Ask for a reference and go and have a look/speak to people that had it done and then decide for yourself.
I actually don't know why I'm trying to convince anyone, do your own research but actually do it and don't rely only on forums, do it yourself, you're the only person you need to convince yourself.
Everyone says scam, but no-one has actually been scammed yet, so read into that what you will.

All...
By all means, don't take my word for it, I would hate for someone to be scammed, but for your own sanity, browse to enpal.de and email them from their site.
I told them they need to put something on their website, they would get more takers, there are just too many scammers around.
That's not true, most of the people you deal with are German in Germany, that's where they call you from and most of their email addresses are from the @enpal.de account.
They are happy to provide references, they deal with reputable installers in CT, unfortunately, I couldn't order through...
Yeah gotta admit, I'd be looking at it the same way.
If I do go for it, I'll take a pic of the installation and a copy of the latest Tyger newspaper next to it. (I'm clearly in the northern suburbs)
Bwahahaha
Well, people are asking, so I thought I'd be the first to post something positive and not cynical.
AND they give R2500 referral fees (so mention my name if you ever go for it)
I have to say, just got off a video conf call / presentation with someone from Enpal in Germany (but working for Enpal ZA). Very professional thus far. Happy to talk to customers in your area to offer them up as references (if they approve). They only started in SA in Feb 2023, I suggested...
I tweeted the enpal.de company and this was their response:
Enpal

I'm also going through the quote process at the moment, so watch this space. I'll also be checking SARS...
