Recommend me a Business fibre ISP other than Vox

We're with VOX for fibre and SwitchTel for phone lines - and yes, Switch Telecom are good. For a small business their hosted PBX is a great solution and very customisable via their client zone.

Comparing South Africa's cheapest bank accounts - April 2024

It's difficult to compare these things now days, I use Capitec for the work's Petty Cash and earn more in rewards than I pay in Bank Fees.

    Capitec Biz Bank Offline

Just signed in now and it is fine. Hopefully fixed.

    Capitec Biz Bank Offline

Same problem here, and I have remote login activated as well. I was online last night and this morning without issue, but as soon business hours came, I struggled to get on.

Changing ISP for BF deals, need advice

Can't comment on latency as I am in Durban, however Vox on international download/upload speeds has always been great for me. I've had experience with several different ISP's on fibre connections and can definitely say that Vox is one of the best with this.

Speed limits in South Africa compared to the US, UK, NZ, Aus, Singapore, and Thailand

Yes, for me it is 6th gear at speeds upwards of 90km/h. +1 for a diesel.

Recommend ISP These Day (Can’t deal with WebAfrica anymore)

I've been with Vox for the past year now and was in 2016/2017, with many other ISP's in between. Of all of them, I've found the quality of internet has been the best on Vox, especially on international links. I don't game, so can't comment on this subject, however when it comes to...

WACS and SAT-3 breaks messing up South Africa's Internet

I also can't say that I have noticed any slow downs or ping irregularities here on VOX. Ping is also pretty stable below 180ms to London.

Entry-level credit card account roundup - April 2023

As far as I can see, you only earn points at partners, in which case, it is useless to those FNB customers that shop elsewhere. Also, Capitec is actually 0.5% on debit card swipes and an additional 1% on credit card swipes, so 1.5%, plus additional rewards at rewards partners. The other...

Digital vs traditional banking transaction fees comparison

And sometimes the lowest fees don't win when considering rewards. Based on my usage, TymeBank - Monthly swipe spend is around R8000 per month - I'm not sure how the smart shopper points work, but I have R15.26 since depleting them in November 2022. I rarely shop at PnP. Capitec - Monthly swipe...

Netflix mobile data usage - MTN vs Vodacom

It's just a thought, but it could be that you have a faster connection on MTN, so it streams on a higher quality than Telkom. I would imagine that this would be more influential with video streaming now days though.

Duracell and Eveready battery price-performance test

I owned a set of 4 rechargeable Duracell's for a couple of years and they did not leak.
