Well, the test is based on the speed and responsiveness of the different OS's, not sure what you mean by your second question?

They may be coded differently but at the end of the day, they perform better on iOS. As a user, I would want a product with the best performance, how it's coded is irrelevant to me.

True that. They will also fail to mention that the S5 is packing a 2.5Ghz Quad processor with 2 Gigs of Ram compared to iPhones 1.4Ghz Dual with 1GB.
