    No samsung has Dolby vision, if that is what you want better look anywhere but samsung. As for IPS vs VA most people say IPS looks lot duller with weaker contrasts, but better viewing angles as you sit in front of the TV I'd recommend a bright va model.

    I know right, but most of the consumer reviews don't report the same problems as experienced by the reviewers. Overall U8QF provides the best picture quality in its price range. Maybe He should hold out for the Q80T.
