Finally get my SIM card delivered today after more than a month of waiting.
Open up the app and see they deactivated the SIM card. Now another 5-7 business days to get a response from MTN back office to see if they can do anything.
Joke of a company.

Wow i dont even know how you managed to get your sim card delivered. I ordered on the 19th of april and still nothing. No help and support is terrible. Everything is "we have escaleted it will take 24-48 hours"
They should really have a number you can call to speak to a human being who can get...
I am in the same boat as you. Same package with axxess but similar problems to the users in this thread and the Afrihost thread.
All started at the beginning of June for me.
June to July
From 12 am to 12pm speeds are capped at >=50mbps
From 12 pm to 12am speeds are capped to >=10mbps
July to...
This Seems to Be happening with quite a few providers. I'm on axxess and have this issue. Another member is on cool ideas and has the same issue. Now afrihost added to the list.

Got the same thing and its impossible to speak to a person at rain. This is comical at this point.
Edit: They fixed it on my end. Hope the rest of you get sorted as well
If you mean a static IP address then with business LTE you can get it via their APN.
You can also get it on the MyMTN Home packages for personal use according to the documentation but when i contacted MTN about this they did not know how to implement it on there side.
Would love to know this now as well.
I see they say the MyMTN home packages can get a static ip address for an additional fee per month but no consultants know what that is or the cost of it.

Had the same issue with data with them as well. Huge amounts of data being used when the sim was not even active. There customer service makes telkom look good and thats saying a lot.
When it worked it was brilliant but i would never recommend them due to their customer service.
