    My suggestion is to visit the relevant bank branch and speak to the ladies there with regards to the difficulty you're having getting an appointment date. They are helpful and maybe able to assist and slot you in sooner due to the glitch.

    How did you eventually come right getting them to cancel the old application? I have a similar issue with my daughter having turned 16 whilst an application was made at 15. Now we stuck and need them to cancel the first application to be able to submit another from her own profile.
