Thank you, appreciate it...but damn that fan...feel for me I have this thing in my room, need to make a plan to move it somewhere else. Is it true that the longer the extension cables the more power it draws from the batteries?

Ok both batteries are now connected in parallel with the jumper cables since this morning, will leave until tomorrow morning, then connect back up and test. I just checked now via watt meter, bought on Takealot that with 3 x Monitors, Desktop PC, router, Fibre box, I'm drawing max 260, see...

Hi, so tested the voltage again today, all disconnected before waiting an hour and got 12.95 V on the one and the other 13.44 V, and after waiting an hour or more, the 1st one is now 12.94 V and the 2nd is 13.30 V. The load of what I'm using is around 290-300W. You think I still need to balance...

Him I finally got to check the voltage of the batteries. The one battery is 13.33 V and the other battery is 13.43 V. Going to now connect jumper cables to try balance them for 24 hours. Your thoughts on the different voltages?

Will be doing that after work today, thanks for the advice thus far, really appreciated. Any suggestions or links you can provide for voltage displays that are accurate?

Okay, whats a good accurate sort of affordable inverter you would recommend, so in the 3 to 6k range that does display voltage correctly and is charging when it's suppose to charge, etc?

Yeah still need to check voltage and balance but last night after running the inverter till it was beeping which I got around 2 hours 15 mins, but only using a 100w TV and laptop, eskom power came back on but the inverter only charged the batteries for an 1hr30 as the fans stopped. Surely if it...

I have another question in the meantime, whats considered better, running 2 x 105ah batteries in parallel or series? I know the difference is either in parallel you get double the battery capacity and in series you get double the voltage, in what scenario is one better than the other?

Nope, made sure all tightly connected. I will measure the batteries tomorrow and get back to you.
