    Thank you. I've called Porting and they say everything is fine on their side - no issues. It's just strange I can dial out and send SMS's but can't receive anything. All diverts have been cancelled.

    So just to update you guys... We put an offer in on a beautiful place in Magaliessig We are just waiting to hear back if it's been accepted, and our house will go on the market in January. Very excited! Thank you for all the advice. May you all have a wonderful Festive time - please stay safe

    Oh that's really interesting - thank you. We actually took a drive round there yesterday to get a feel for the neighbourhood but we didn't go down to the PnP.

    And the fact that it's in that triangle of Witkoppen/William Nicol/N1 doesn't make Magaliessig noisy? We currently live in Rivonia near the N1 and it gets incredibly noisy at night and over weekends. I don't mind the general traffic as that is nice white noise but it's the racing down the N1...

    Good point, well presented! A friend mentioned Kingsbridge Manor or Westminster as lovely, secure estates. Any feedback on those? I've never lived in an estate so not sure what to expect.
