    I also keep missing them. Apparently there were a few flyovers on thursday. What seems to be regular is that they do a flyover at 5pm almost on the dot. So tonight i'm going to try and get ready to see that one as it comes over.

    Possibly. It was a time critical decision though, so they basically just gave them the benifit of the doubt. It looks like incompetence instead of malice. If I have to choose between the ANC's list being included and the entire election being invalidated.. Ill just let them have their list.

    It was probably the ANC's argument. They had submitted the full list but were unable to confirm... so the list was there, it's not like they were still adding candidates. It does leave a gap though where someone else could submit a new list at the last moment... anyway. As long as you are able...

    They had to make a decision because the election is in 19 days time. They can deliberate for the next week but the IEC need to know what to put on the ballots. What's going to be really bad is if there is a problem with the ruling... could put the entire election at risk. Its probably better if...

    I think the submission process has multiple validation phases so I doubt they will just skip that. So one person uploads and then another person validates the list. What's more likely is that they change it so that automatically submits for you at the last moment.
