    PC is Windows. Router is Linux. RPi is Linux. Other router is BSD. Have an Ubuntu Server VM in Hyper-V as well. I use them all. My dad lives with me and he has a mac mini which I inevitably have to use on his behalf sometimes.

    In this case, re the hostage maps, they do reside elsewhere as they have high ping. 200-300ms and the whole server is full of identical pinged bots on both teams.

    Yes, because the hostage maps usually have less players. If they start joining and there are enough people they get kicked enough and then back off. Otherwise, no luck. I also play the hostage maps a lot but generally if it's past 9 on a Sunday or 10 most other days you can forget about playing...
