Not even your British passport? I find that strange as I have always sent it in and then gotten it back with a corner cut. One thing that may have changed this year is having to send a proof of address, I am not sure if I did that in 2016.
I have had to do that the last two times I renewed mine, earlier this year and in 2016, I can't recall much changing between 2016 and 2026 though. Still basically the same process...

Oh yeah, we have used side rails and inflatable rails, still have them for our second son when he moves to a large bed, our eldest isn't using them anymore. The inflatable rails are useful for travelling if you can't take a camp cot or your child isn't using one and sleeps in a large bed.
We used a convertible cot, so high cot, low cot, then removed the cot sides and converted to a small bed. When we moved house we used a single bed (Just over 2.) and when our second son arrived moved our eldest to a double bed (3.5). Our youngest is now 2.5 and we'll either change his cot to...
