    A note on Gauteng: In all three metros, a DA/ASA/VF+ coalition can govern excluding the ANC entirely. But the question is, will brittlebone Mashaba leap at the chance, or will his ever bruised ego decide for him? Beaumont said they were open to all parties... So idk.

    Something I find interesting during the count is how most of the party leaders are saying they're open to talks with everyone... Which if you compare to 2021 and 2024 are completely different attitudes. But the ANC is ****ed, I mean they're struggling to even get to 50% in EC of all places...
