    My stuff was verified and not changed....then received a letter to submit all the same docs again. emailed Ombudsman and they accepted my case as once again they have a systematic error!!!!

    Not sure if you can help.. all finalized without changes but SOA does not give me a date for electronic refund. it only states original assesment with a negative amount.

    I printed a complaint form, completed it in writing and emailed it. Received a reply in 4 days that they my complaint falls within their area of assistance. I marked it as Systemic complaint...because it is a problem on the system.

    Ombudsman this year gave SARS 15 days to comply.... which is over tomorrow. lets see what happens

    Last year I had reversals all the time but was not asked to verify the same docs again and again. They did help me last year. This year, My stuff was just finalised for the 3rd time today so let see if I will get paid or refund reversal?

    Same thing happened to my colleague but this time they physically paid the monies into her account, only to reverse the transaction 2 days later.

    Approach the Ombudsman... It happened to me as well. There is a problem on the system I am sure. [email protected]. Mine was finalized with no changes twice and then they do a refund reversal and asked me for exactly the same docs that I supplied before.

    So just to let you know. I approached the Ombudsman and I must say I am so very impressed. They accepted my Systemic complaint as I Submit what is requested, They finalize without change an I get a completion letter only to then be issued with another verification letter requesting the EXACT...

    For your sake I truly hope so. MAY THE ODDS BE FOREVER IN YOUR FAVOUR!! :) It takes a day or so for your SOA to be updated but with it being Thursday, they might update today so they can pay you tomorrow.

    No it was in my correspondence. I have now approached the Ombudsman as the same thing happend to my colleague for 2021 claims and she has been asked to supply the same documents 16 times and still no payout!

    So after Receiving this in July and submitting all documents required and receiving a completion letter finalised without changes last Friday.... If you do not find any error in your return, we would appreciate it if you can send us documentation in support of all your income declared...

    Sadly the only way is to phone and ask them to escalate. the Strike is over now so it was easy to get through...
