Yes i know people are going to tell me I am wasting the oil 6 months only on fully synthetic - my motto is oil changes are cheap , engine rebuilds are in convienent
I personally use Liqui moly Molygen - that bright green one, no issues , I do use the VAG spec VAG spec 502 if I cant get Molygen but be aware 502 can only ne used if you dont have a DPF - Mine is gutted, just the housing is in place.

I used to use 5W30 , fuel efficiency was better but the 5W40, I see handles heat better and does not get as hot as the 5W30. I also noticed since using the 5W40 the chain rattle o start up is now quieter and I only get the rattle maybe once every 6-7 start ups most times its starts up silently...
