What you should know before buying a new TV

Great article! Unfortunately, it fails to mention that while Oled might give you the best viewing experience, it also has the greatest weakness, which is 'burn in'. That's the reason Samsung probably stopped producing them, and switched over to LCD, IPS and VA panels instead. Watch Rting on...

South Africa in UN agreement to reduce speed limits - RTMC

Interestingly, there is no information in this article about how many accidents were alcohol related. I think that is where a major problem lies. The government needs to deal with that!

Six power stations to be constructed in Tokologo Local Municipality

"Mantashe, one of those in charge of finding solutions, responded, saying that new projects would only start generating power by April 2024." Someone needs to inform him that a solar field starts generating electricity almost immediately. Nothing but sunlight is required.

Large electric car batteries worse than diesel for the environment – Mazda

What a load of bolony from Mazda! Did they consider the millions of tons of cobalt it takes to make fossil fuels. That's what the fossil fuel companies keep quite about. What about the carbon that's being burnt just creating fuel from crude oil? Companies are also beginning to recycle used...

    MTN's plans for 2020

Interestingly there's no mention of MTN reducing their ridiculously high data prices in 2020. They charge us 5 times more for a gig of data than in Mozambique (a neighboring country).

Don't blame Vodacom and MTN for Government's failures

I disagree with this article. Kindly explain why Vodacom charges R30 per gig of data in Mozambique (a neighboring country), but charges South Africans R115 for a gig of data?

Samsung Galaxy A30s - Awesome features at a great price

How can the A30s really be considered an upgrade from A30 when they've downgraded the screen resolution? A full HD display is the norm among midrange phones.

    Tesla unveils Cybertruck

Sorry, I meant 480 to over 800 kilometers, not miles, on a single charge depending on the battery pack you buy with the vehicle.

    Tesla unveils Cybertruck

Finally, a vehicle that looks like it belongs in the 21st century. This is 2019, remember! Other vehicle manufactures would have released this as a prototype and over a period of 10 to 20 years slowly introduced its technology and design factors into its current vehicles. Their priority is...

    South Africa's most fuel-efficient car

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Diesel gate was about CO2 emissions, not fuel economy.

    South Africa's most fuel-efficient car

It is likely, judging from their past. Lol! But my fuel tank won't be lying to me. That car is super fuel efficient, especially on long distances.

    South Africa's most fuel-efficient car

Apparently there were no VWs invited to the party. So sad! I drive a VW polo 1.9 tdi sportline, and I've averaged on a long run about 5 litres per 100 km. Check the video! I'm not impressed. There were no VWs invited to the party. My VW polo 1.9 tdi recently did 4.8 l/100 km recently. Check out...
