    Here comes the pain :) out of interest do all ups's do this or specific to these mercers losing settings when restarted...man I don't understand how so many comments on takealot don't mention this, "sounds" like other than me people like the beeping :)

    Hi this is not correct the settings are lost with viewpower or the other app mentioned in the forum when the ups is switched off for these Mercer 1000's, is there anything else you have done before I open it up and start doing some surgery like above
