Icasa forcing 6-month data bundles could cause higher prices

It was only a matter of time before the companies came out with there false arguments and threats of higher data prices. It's high time that stealing data was stopped. Buying long term data should actually work out cheaper because the companies will have better information about the actual usage.

We tested Checkers' claim that it's cheaper to use Sixty60 than shop in-store

Might be cheaper but when I tried them they wanted to deliver alternative products that didn't match my requirements. In the end I chose no alternatives and only got a partial order.

Mantashe blasts Shell and BP for shutting down Sapref

The greed and arrogance of the corrupt ANC members and cadres know no bounds. How about ensuring a constant supply of electricity and possibly companies will make further investments.

Notorious Nigerian Internet scammers panic after FBI makes arrests in SA

With an International team making the arrests, there was no-one checking the airports in case any suspects suddenly flew away? Should be basic work for these guys.

Win R2,000 - Which South African charity would you love to help out?

Gift of the Givers. They do sterling work and you know all the money goes to their work. There are too many venerable communities in this country. If this wins, give the R2,000 to them not me.

Fibre price comparison on 500Mbps+ uncapped packages

Do all ISPs throttle the speed through the router at 200Mbps? If so, the faster speeds don't matter for streaming TV etc.

Fibre price comparison on 500Mbps+ uncapped packages

There will only be a price war when customers have a choice of supplier. Most people only have a single Fibre supplier and are stuck with it. A few lucky ones have the options.

Land Cruisers electric conversion coming to South Africa

There is already an electric Land Rover in Sabi Sands. The current problem is that the wildlife are used to the noise and smell of the diesels but are still unsure about the electric vehicle. It isn't noiseless but is quieter.

Post Office's plan to handle all courier deliveries in South Africa - outsource it

Why not start with a decent letter delivery service and go from there, or is that not possible!

Buying a 43-inch Hisense TV and getting a 32-inch Sinotec instead

I wish Takealot had some decent opposition. If your order is out of stock they just credit your account, no question of returning your money. For free delivery you get a single day, no choice of even delaying it until later and then it gets delivered on a different day. I'm lucky that I live in...

Surge in email spam - these are the countries responsible

If Google can determine what country you are in [and you are only allowed to change it once per year], why can't they stop all the Spam from other countries? I've recently been targeted by numerous car sales, shops, and other businesses in USA who seem to be party to some big advertising group...

    Streaming alternatives to SuperSport

DSTV stills provides the best overall but if you only want certain limited sports you maybe best elsewhere.

Digital rand - CBDC for South Africa

Can I suggest that the E-Rand logo is a banana.

BritBox price and launch date for South Africa

A load of old shows regurgitated. They need to include some recent shows etc. but what do you expect when they spend their summer running repeats. They will miss the market unless they can make it look like iPlayer and ITV Catchup.
