Like these here, or something compatible and with the same/similar specs, to add onto my existing setup, which utilises 2 of the same currently. The closest I could personally find were 375W Canadian Solar panels, which I would apparently lose 22% effectiveness of, should I decide purchase and...
Thanks for sharing this device. Looks interesting and just like Cloudlink, the app seems to offer remote/off site monitoring as well. Is it just sold as a motherboard though, with one requiring to get a case and possibly program it as well? Will weigh the approx R3k once off cost of Cloudlink...
Thanks for the feedback Leon. I’ve been doing some digging and I believe I’ve found what according to both the battery manufacturer (Hubble), as well as the resellers, say is the only battery available locally that’s BMS coms compatible with our type of inverter - albeit in combination with...
Does anyone know what battery would communicate through the com port and work via the BMS of my particular inverter? I believe that this particular inverter is alternatively branded as Axpert, Sunmagic etc. Not looking to replace the inverter, just for a new lithium battery to replace the...
In addition to the above questions, the DSTV website states that one can stream Box Office movies directly off their website https://www.dstv.com/en-za/news/41676/the-latest-movie-releases-in-your-own-home-with-dstv-box-office and it does indeed seem so - well the option seems to be there but...
Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I’m new to the DSTV app and want to confirm if the remote recording feature has been permanently removed by DSTV and if so, why? I found the following still active old YouTube link on the DSTV channel, which seems to suggest the feature is still...
Based on many of the recommendations on this forum, I recently bought a Gizzu UPS via Takealot - the latest GUP100W model with the LifeP04 batteries. https://www.syntech.co.za/product/gizzu-100w-46wh-14400mah-mini-poe-dc-ups-black/
Realising that the I needed another one urgently and whilst...
I was about to say, close, or delete this thread “Super Moderator” @bwana , since I have received the info I require but on second thoughts leave it as it is, so that people with similar experiences in future, may come across historical info about such and perhaps provide more constructive...
@bwana , to clarify - I disabled caller ID prior to making those 2 calls and subsequently tested its operation thereafter (after receiving those unsolicited WhatsApps), WITHOUT and I reiterate WITHOUT making any changes to the previously disabled Caller ID settings. Yes, one cannot say with...
Caller ID disabled at handset not at SP, the latter apparently being failsafe. As a previous poster commented, this could be a workaround for “spyware” type apps such as Trucaller, not forgetting other “public” identifier info such as one’s IP address and device ID which such utilise. Based on...
Take time to read my original post…and be more objective in your attempted unpacking/analysis of it. No time for emotional content here. That’s not the objective my post set out to achieve. If that’s what you’re after then move along - you’re not getting that here.
Please read my initial post. As @genetic stated previously, all the info that Trucaller has is on me is public info - the app merely collated whatever it could glean from my call, whether that be my IP address, device ID etc, to fulfil its intended function for its user, in this case, revealing...
Negative - it was I who initiated (targeted) these “private” calls to these companies, not them to me. They did not have any prior knowledge of me, my cell number, nor my name. Their possession of this knowledge, was revealed in their subsequent WhatsApps to me.
