    So basically it was a stipulation of the OTP when we bought the property. The transfer was not supposed to have been registered without an EFCOC. I will have to tell the attorneys that I must report this to the law society if they dont sort it out.

    Could have done this before I knew it was a requirement. Contract signed etc already. Probably a bit late to do this. Also a little unethical :P

    Had two certified inspectors. Yes, the conveyancer and owner should have handled it which they didnt. Now I have to spend R4500+- to make it certified.
