    turned out to be supply switch in DB board burnt at top on din rail so was not getting full power to stove.Will get cct breaker tomorrow

    switch was replaced,thermostat and thermal cut out. definitely something going to ground when oven selector switch is used

    Means there is power into the unit but as soon as the oven selector switch is used there is no power at the incoming point. The last time it was used the grill was used and 2 days later this problem was there ?

    No circuit breaker does not trip just stops power to oven function .As soon as oven selector switch is used there is no power to stove

    Put my meter on Mohm and tested for continuity. Also disconnected elements and oven switch still shunts power

    At first stage of selector switch oven light shunts the power. Not the light tested that separate . tested the selector switch and all seems in order ?

    Thanks Bob,tested the elements and that not the problem Changed thermostat still no joy Gave up the struggle and taken to electrical shop Will post result if they fix

    My oven stopped working after doing baking. Seems soon as I turn the oven now it shunts the power. have tested the switch and thermal cut-out which are ok. Could it be the thermostat ?
