Nothing majorly wrong with this monitor, solid deal. Wonder if that colour change might be helped with some calibration. But Enjoy the monitor :) hopefully I can order mine soon

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

I believe thats just colour smearing, would be expected as its little text surrounded by red, believe wont really notice it in many scenarios, definitely not a deal breaker, that would be classified as a type of ghosting. Theres one last thing however I forgot to mention, colour banding, you can...

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Wow! That is very good for a VA thats actually less black ghosting than the white ghosting that I get from my PLS monitor :o I don't know about the colour changing, but if its noticeable, think Ill have to see it in person to make up my mind or maybe just order it and worst case scenario not...

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Thanks a lot for your time :) the ghosting or smearing is nothing like in these two clips? 99% of VA panels will have this issue so if its kept to a minimum thats great. as for the colour changing, how annoying would you rate it?

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Thanks man, I agree no way you can get away with such impressive specs at such a price. But anyhow its just a question on how much "defects" it has since its expected but just a question of how much it is, because its still unbelievable value for under 10 grand with all the features

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Thank you for offering to test it :) I think best thing to do is do a few test and post the results in the other thread about new monitor advice. think the most relevant tests to do is: https://www.testufo.com/ghosting https://www.testufo.com/blurtrail https://www.testufo.com/photo...

Awesome! with no flickering and turning off from the screen? Also have you gone to https://www.blurbusters.com/motion-tests/tools/ and checked for any artifacts and how it performs?

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

I've been doing some more reading and 4ms gtg time for a tn panel is insanely high, the norm for a good tn is 1-2ms and this might lead to ghosting and motion blur. I also saw both panels are sold in china as INNO&CN, dunno how their colour calibration is :/ also been looking at reviews of...

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Thank you very much for the information, very helpful, however i don't know if we can compare the two panels directly since yours is a va panel and probably produced in two separate facilities, There is a small chance the colour shift is due to the va panel but im not sure of the flickering...

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

No as far as im aware nvidia added support for all freesync monitors but those not certified as ready have some issues but many of them not major issues with the gaming experience and sometimes just flickering when turning on.

    Advice on the Mecer M2A1R 27 144hz

Hi guys, I dont know whether its appropraite to start a thread for it, however here it goes. I am currently looking at buying a 1440p 144hz monitor that has freesync and doesn't have majour issues working with gsync, there is a list on Reddit with all the freesync monitors and how they behave...
