Thanks, I'll look into that. My thinking was 12V DC will be a safer option considering it's outside. Could you share a link to the waterproof junction boxes you used?
Have a look at this link to an American brand called Volt. You don't get them here but this is what one of their kits look like. The whole system works off 12 volts which goes into a transformer to convert to AC which then connects to a plug point...
Hi Tabac have a look at the sketch it's roughly something like this. The furthest light will be around 14 meters away and each of the two trenched cable runs will use between 25W - 30W
Calling on garden lovers and lighting experts!
I'm about to dive into landscape lighting for my garden, and I could really use some friendly advice and pointers from experienced folks. I've done some homework but I need some help! One thing to note before we start: my house is off the grid with...
The new Sonet EX+ has cruise control. Picked mine up last Friday and I'm very impressed so far. The 1.0 turbo's consumption won't be as good as the previously released 1.5l engines, but I'm on Discovery Drive so I'm driving like a granny anyways. Day 3 of driving I'm getting around 6.8l/100km...
That’s awesome thanks for the info. An extra R60k puts it in a weird price class but with the current model being over R330k the features could be worth it.
"FYI, a new 1.0L Turbo version got released on the weekend."
Curious about where you saw the release of the turbo version, I can't find any info/pricing. Other than the engine do you know if they added any other features to the turbo model?
Correctomundo. On the Blairgowrie side of Jan Smuts it's 80. If you know where the Vega school is, that's where it becomes a 60 zone when travelling away from Randburg towards Craighall Park. There's a 60 sign on that side, but when travelling the other direction the 60 kmh sign is nowhere to be...
No the stretch of road I'm talking about has an 80 kmh fixed camera on the corner of Jan Smuts and Gordon avenue (By timber city blairgowire). Turns out it becomes a 60 zone not much after that camera - speed limit sign gone of course
Hope I'm at the right place... I have a Vitality Drive question. Today's my first day of using it, had my tracker installed yesterday. There's a stretch of road on Jan Smuts avenue (jhb) that is an 80 km/h zone, I know it is because there's a permanent 80 speed trap on that stretch. I got...
I don't for a second imagine the 6-airbag version NOT getting a price bump, but if it's still within the competition's range I'd agree and say it's a winner

So this is interesting, the Sonet will now come with 6 airbags as standard in India (where the SA Sonets are imported from). Fingers crossed!
Definitely, can't remember which one but between the Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser and VW T-Cross I know at least one of them don't support CarPlay wirelessly, and they're in the same-to-higher price bracket than the Sonet.
