Download, format USB fat32, copy into root folder (I had nothing on my dribe), plug into USB slot on tv, go to software update on tv menu, it will ask to reboot, say yes and it should reboot into the update screen. That should be it.
Hisense really needs to improve their process of communicatin
To be honest I can't really remember as it took me a while to figure out that I need to format USB FAT32 before I got it to update.
I would say that you will need a good 15-20 minutes to do the update.
You need to do the firmware update I shared earlier. It adds a Dolby vision custom setting and also allows you to update the vision bright settings. However not all settings are can be changed.
Not sure I'm allowed to share the link sent but for the greater good see link shared by Hisense.

I've also noticed a some image tearing specifically watching soccer through the DSTV Now app. This only seems to happen with DSTV now so not sure if it's the app or the...
Also bought the 55q8600 over the weekend. Still trying to get the right picture settings. Anyway have a good guide?
Also, is it normal for the menu screens on the TV to judder as you scroll through the menus? Seems as TV does not have enough memory.
