    Torti v. Van Horn is an outlier, the laws wrt good samaritans were strengthened after that case. If she did nothing she would have been fine though. The stats wrt cases involving CPR apply to medically trained people (emt, doctors etc) and not members of the public.

    The US has good samaritan laws shielding members of the public that provide assistance to people in medical emergencies. Some countries have duty to rescue laws, if you don't help you can be held liable. SA has neither of those laws, here they rob you while you lie dying.
