    last night when batteries were at 52v (i set to maintain at 52V at night), when i cut Eskom, the aux didnt switch off and geyser drained batteries even though setting was to switch off at 56.5v though

    ok but typically the batteries when they on float around 54V. i set the aux to switch off when its 56.5V which means that it should switch off immediately when eskom is cut no? am i supposed to connect the geyser to aux? and does aux cut off when eskom dies?

    that is just for the cut off when aux is running. so dont want the aux (geyser and pool pump) to use the battery at all. i thot when eskom gets cut the aux stops working - but even if it doesnt it should draw from the battery below those settings
