    The 2013 Nexus 7 is awesome - VERY similar screen quality as the iPad Mini Retina. Oh, and it is 16:9 ratio, tiny letterbox videos :) My wife owns a Nexus 7 2013 and I the Retina Ipad Mini - both have their pluses and minuses.

    Actually, with iMovie it is rather fast, unless you are doing a 1 hour or 2 hour movie. @xrapidx - have a look on the internet (google) there are lots of reviews of iMovie on iPad including tutorials. The worst part is actually getting your movies on to the iPad unless you have a camera adapter...

    I rather use Zinio - they have a great collection of local and international magazines and they are not as large as 500Meg - Zinio also has some awesome magazine subscription deals every week. On a 1 meg line they download fine in Zinio..

    Yes, the iPad 2 snap on cover does work on the new iPad. I tried mine on one of my collegues new device. Not sure about the back cover though.
