The link for the RN/Vuma price adjustment notice:

4/1 to 10/2 is R94
The unchanged packages increase by R34, so effectively the speed bump was R60.
Pretty sure I said I'll be happy to pay R50 for it.
SO THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Just kidding...
Not Quite.
Low packages were R100 cheaper than CISP, but carry a R500 activation fee - 5 Month Buy-in.
Higher packages are only R50 or less, but have no activation.
Honestly if I was to cancel after 5 months, and get nailed with a FULL R1500 penalty, I would be VERY cross.
R500 activation +...
I'd be quite fine with a R50 (11%) bump to be honest.
Was more miffed that there wasn't a 10Mbps option to begin with, and the R250 (55%) bump to 20Mbps was a little harder to swallow.
Sucks if you're going for the cheapest option though, many people will be fine with almost any fibre speed if...
There might be some admin fees that could be justified for early settlement, but even the interest is a bit of a grey area.
If interest is based on the outstanding balance, and it's settled, the interest is effectively 0.
3x0=0
Pretty sure there was no penalties on mine. Pretty standard 'give us 3 months notice' type of thing, and the only penalty would've been relatively small.
All of that is pretty much what we leverage, but they aren't nearly as eager to pay those kinds of salaries :(
You must be smiling with Edge going all chromium though. In a fairly short time your compatibility requirements could get way simpler.
I guess things are changing with React/Angular adding more complexity to what can be done, but I didn't expect it to pay that well.
Anything specific that they value?
Heavy bandwidth optimization (load times maybe)?
Great mobile support? (PWA and the likes? Offline support?)
Some other magic...
Lol - you buggers.
I JUST got my 4mb. Still have to decide if 4Mbps can fill my life. [emoji23]
R250/month difference, but R705 free. So 3 months at 20Mbps for the price of 4Mbps.
Is there any cost associated with switching between the two normally? Either up or down.
Confirmed - Raycore directly connects.
No reason to have the PPPoE credentials, and no PPPoE available.
My line was borked - Area manager said it was the outside line, not sure if the technicians fixed anything there, but they came back with a "This should work now".
And then it didn't, and...
