    It is the second time I cancel. The first time I was in financial dire-straits about 15 years ago. Then things improved financially and after about a year I was back. My family will experience the worst of it but at least we have broadband.

    Replacement batteries for Mecer 2000VA UPS

    I see no one replied but I would like to know if you found answers elsewhere. I am in the same position as you are and I don't have enough knowledge about charging. Meaning if you do find an alternative battery (Lithium/Gel) do you use the same charger that is inside the UPS.

    Mecer 2400VA Inverter (Community Support)

    Is it "Plug and Play" Meaning is it a simple swop out (removing lead batteries and replacing them with Lithium ones), no need to change anything on the 'charging settings' Sorry I do not have the unit so I don't even know if there is a 'charging setting'
