Inverter located in garage 2 pdus in bottom rear of cab. 1 is fed from inverter, 1 is fed from mains, on a different circuit. 5009 has DC in front and on side, L009 has DC on the front and PoE in via injector. Hap mini without its stand on the shelf, acting as a crude power monitor.
Lol, no :p I would use the physical button in that case, last resort if I have done something stupid with my network configuration or the MikroTik kit behaves like MikroTik kit :p It was initially just to get an idea of the power consumption of my kit, didn’t really take that much further.
Thanks :) Measuring power consumption of most of most of the network kit in the house, and a “on/off” switch for the whole cabinet. The ONTs and the smart switch are mounted on a 2u blanking plate that I modified.
Used 2.5/2.5 since launch. Smooth sailing so far. Octotel team are always a pleasure to work with.
Have a VRRP setup with Openserve 50/50 Premium as backup (active-active with router redundancy - Openserve runs on L009).
MikroTik RB5009 as Core Router - ONT to router using the 2.5GB copper...
Not a noob question at all.
While this is fairly simple to do, I would highly recommend watching the network berg's mtcna playlist. Better to understand the concepts and how they work vs copy pasting stuff from the Internet. A tik is like a blank piece of paper, and you draw what you want...
328s are fantastic - i PoE daisy chain a lot of stuff in my house using one - also use them at work. Their new CRS320 looks interesting, just wish it was 2.5gb
Very cool. Have used the 5009 since launch - good luck with the rack. Fun journey. I use Mik for routing, switching, ubnt for aps and cameras. Will never touch another ubnt router or switch again
About 5 metres away. No in depth testing or config done yet, nor proper mounting. Was just the first run, proof of concept. No aggregating bands either as far as I know.
I work for said ISP. Business connection. 10gb CoCT
MyBB staff should be able to independently verify. I think it might be among the highest phone WiFi results tested on the MyBB speedtest server
320MHz channel width, 6GHz WiFi 7

Default settings, no tweaking
S24 Ultra
Over 2Gbps up and down on WiFi on a phone , who would have thought :)
Exciting prospects - More excited for the potential for 6GHz 802.11be...
You are correct. You will get blocked. Tried it myself with an sxt lte6 on Afrihost mtn fixed lte, worked briefly then block. Has to be on list or you get blocked. Afaik the same is not true on business packages
Not worth doing yourself - risk of damage is fairly high. Contact your ISP - who will then in tun request a re-installation for the respective fibre network. Just know they will likely charge you a full install fee - which varies by fibre network but is generally R1500ex and up.
