Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Dude, I get that you don't want vapor in your surroundings. I have agreed that public places should be vape free several times already. I vape at home, hence my snide comment. I absolutely respect your space.

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Fair point, no arguments there. My vaping doesn't bother you either. No, I don't have a man bun. :D

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Actually, I've been less sick since I started vaping than before. I don't even suffer from the flu these days. Weird, but true.

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

I'm going to leave this here: Cancer Research UK - E-cigarette safety page It contains many links to actual studies that give a well reasoned argument for vaping when compared to smoking. It's important to make that distinction. Not vaping > vaping > smoking.

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

I'm addicted to caffeine in coffee. I literally have 3-5 cups a day. Does that make coffee dangerous?

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

2014 study that has been debunked. https://aplusairconditioning.com/vaping-affect-indoor-air-quality/

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

3 points raised here, and I want to address them inidividually. 1: vaping is a gateway to nicotine addiction (paraphrased) - it would seem that way, but experience has shown (both personal and watching customers) that somehow, without all the other addictive ingredients one finds in cigarettes...

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

I'd like to tip a hat to @Jean Claude Vaaldamme for thoroughly trolling me. Well done, had me fuming for a while there.

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

You don't know me and you presume too much, good sir. The trust me comment was made in jest, but you must have missed that. It's far too easy to throw the "prove it" comment into the ether. I asked a legitimate question and I still haven't received a answer, nor will I. I'll leave that there...

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Touche. Excellent avoidance of the question at hand. I can only present anecdotal evidence over the past 4 years - I've seen enough fakes/clones to know (and this goes for both hardware and e-juice) how dangerous they can be. On the other hand, I can count on one hand the amount of good...

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Fact? Link please? If you're talking about devices blowing up, then regulate the market so the Chinese copies are (slowly, given our government) rooted out of the market.

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Sorry Craig, but that just sounds ignorant. Vapour clouds dissipate fully within 30 seconds and are as "poisonous" as room air. I'll find the study if you require it. Cigarette smoke is known to be harmful, hangs around for up to 5 minutes and gets into everything - furniture, car seats...

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

Depends. My wife tried a MTL device, but it was only once she moved to a DTL device that she was able to achieve the effect she wanted and moved from cigs. Yes, MTL devices have improved in the last 4 years, but DTL has its place. The problem, as with guns, is not the tool as much as the tool...

Should vaping be treated as smoking?

I owned (and ran) a vape shop until last year, and we were involved in the process to engage Guavamint over the proposed changes in the tobacco bill. Suffice to say that vaping is not the same as smoking. We have empirical evidence to show this. I can also confidently say that as an industry...
