The question I have is how does Eskom calculate the 18.65% + 12.74% increase?
Over the years, South Africa has been subjected to Eskom's massively above inflation increases.
Eskom is supposed to be an SOE which is "non-profit" driven.
Where's the increased revenue going?
Is it to service debt...

ANC can't even run a basic SOEs like SAA, Denel, etc and they want to implement NHI and take over all health services o_O
With Eskom, they actively encouraging private competition.
With NHI they want a monopoly with no competition.
Note: South Africa already has national health service...
