    It started giving blue screens every now and again, then it got worse and worse, now it's just shows BIOS settings. Let's make it R2000, surely if the laptop is totally dead (which it's not, as it still displays) then parts alone are worth more?

    Sorry guys but I'm not too clued up with these things, all I can tell you is that it curreclty starts up and goes straight to BIOS settings page. So I can tell you for sure that the screen, keyboard, mouse, battery are working 100%. Not sure about the hard drive
