    It's still working fine, since the repair was done. It's working fine, after 5+ years. Don't worry about the metal pieces slightly increasing the length because the cable can be adjusted.

    Someone did that and the tip of the cable broke off, then you will have to replace the cable often. This is from experience on a Corsa b Utility. Since the repair, my pedal is still working perfectly. I sprayed Q20 into the sleeving of the clutch cable on the day of repair and earlier this.

    Since the repair, the pedal and cable are still working, no issues. It's great that you have repaired yours, the plastic holding the cable can break at anytime and leave you stranded.

    The clutch pedal and cable has been working great since the repair a few years ago, I sprayed Q20 into the sleeving of the cable a few months and it's working perfectly. 26/01/22

    It would be best to have a mechanic look at it, it may require the gearbox being taken off and repaired.

    Tighten the nut on the end of the clutch cable to adjust the clutch, if it's tighten full, then you have to replace the cable.
